2016 Livermore Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Vintner Select

$38.00

In Stock

Temptingly rich and layered, a firm, ripe, muscular wine that’s deep, structured, intense and concentrated, serving up a mix of ripe currant, cassis, plum, black cherry and blackberry fruit with touches of anise, cedar and black licorice. Full-bodied, gaining depth and turning ever more elegant and detailed, with tannins that give this wine traction. 50% of this Cabernet was barrel fermented in 100% French oak barrels. The heads of the barrels were removed to facilitate punch downs. Two different yeasts were used to extract additional layers of complexity. The two processes of fermentation were matured separately in 100% French oak barrels and blended prior to bottling. Only 72 cases of this wine was produced using only the best of all the Cabernet produced this vintage.

2017 Pinot Noir Crickism #1 Never try to fit in as we were all born to stand out...

A delightful red blend, that is the namesake of the beach where Phil and Debra were married. The label is literally “moonstones” that they found on Moonstone Beach, and formed into a heart to tie in with the other labels. A off dry blend (1.5%) residual sugar) of 48% Grenache, 29% Zinfandel, and 23% Petite Sirah.

Qualities of t’ej port meet in Sonoma Valley to produce a unique sweet dessert honey wine in a clear bottle. A single barrel was selected (marked “X”) and aged for 30 months - more than twice as long as our non-reserve wines. Only 55 cases produced from the 2017 honey harvest,17% ABV. Release date TBD Summer 2020. Release summer 2020.The world standard sweeter sparkling honey wine and the world’s first and only Charmat method honey wine (less yeasty and more ‘fruit forward’ than the Champagne method - most perfect for delicate honey wine - especially a sweeter honey wine). The unique combination of extended aging in French oak and Stainless barrels and secondary, pressure, fermentation produces a fascinating sweeter sparkling. Perfect for spicier foods and BBQ or for sipping in the spring or on warm summer days. The 2019 vintage was Oregon's hottest and largest harvest on record, producing lush round fruit with balance acidity! We would like to introduce our take on Pinot Noirs favorite mutation: The 2017 Other People’s Pinot Gris is like Juggling Apples, Pears and Peaches while dancing to Pharell's "Happy" - enthralling, upbeat, fresh and deluxe.
