Description

We have a history of producing award-winning Zinfandel, and we assure you our latest vintage is no exception. These grapes hail from a premier hillside vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. Our 2017 Zinfandel is an intense, well-balanced wine with a beautiful deep garnet color. It is juicy, bright, and explodes with flavors of raspberry, cherry and vanilla. It has a long silky finish and lingering acid represents this old-world varietal wonderfully. The grapes were harvested in October 2017 and the wine was bottled in January 2019. This wine was aged 15 month in french oak of which 35% was new. This wine is best enjoyed in a red wine glass that has a large bowl and narrowed rim. This style of glass is necessary to aerate and concentrate aromas towards the nose while directing a balanced flow over the taste zones of the tongue. Our 2017 Zinfandel won a Gold Medal in the 2019 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and a Bronze Medal in the 2019 San Francisco International Wine Competition.

DescriptionThe world standard for premium dry honey wine. Barrel aged in 100% French oak. Crisp, dry, and complex but with no bitter tannins. Imbibers who enjoy drier cocktails or cider, pilsner style beers, and a variety of grape wine will appreciate versatile “Brut.” Pair with foods normally difficult to pair wine with (e.g. eggs, salads, smoked salmon, young goat cheese, light seafood).

Inviting aromas of ripe apricot, peach, orange peel, and jasmine flowers jump from the glass. Beautifully balanced sugar and acid make this wine rich and refreshing. Enjoy this wine with a spicy curry, soft cheeses, fresh fruits, or your favorite pie. The grapes were hand harvested and carefully pressed. The resulting juice went through a clean and cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks for twelve days. No time in oak and no malo-lactic fermentation; this wine was made in the vineyard.

Sparkling. Full of life. This wine is here to celebrate uniqueness and individuality without sacraficing community. No one can be just like you, you can't be like anyone else but that doesn't mean we are alone. Raise a glass and give a toast to the greatness that is you.

This is Longevity’s first Vintner Select Syrah. Expressive, mineral tinged cherry and blackberry scents, along with hints of smoky bacon, licorice and bright violet. Concentrated and energetic on the palate, offering juicy, spice-laced black and blue fruit flavors that put on weight and become sweeter with air. Closes very long and sweet, showing excellent clarity and cut on the minerally, youthfully tannic finish. 95% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah.

52% Marquette & 48% La Crescent. The fruit was handpicked from the Ellison Estate Vineyard in October 2019. Both varietals underwent whole-cluster semi-carbonic fermentation before being foot crushed. They were both fermented and aged in demijohn. In the late winter/early spring of 2020 the varietals were blended and organic maple syrup was added to the still base wine of the blended Marquette and La Crescent to start a second alcoholic fermentation. The wine was bottled to finish under cap as a traditional method sparkling wine. Native yeast fermentation. No sulfur additions, fining, filtering, or funny business in the winery, just fucking fermented juice.
