2018 Zinfandel
$35.00
Located in the wilderness of Sonoma County, High Rock Ranch has been farmed by the Lewers Family since they planted it in 1997. The vineyard is planted to the Teldeschi Family’s heritage clone of Zinfandel, which produces small berried, tight clusters in the mountain side gravely loam. Ranging from 1,700-2,000 in elevation the vineyard is so steep that it can only be farmed using ATVs and tank-treaded tractors. As difficult as the farming can be, it offers fruit of exceptional quality and breathtaking views of the Sonoma Coast.

Description | Located in the wilderness of Sonoma County, High Rock Ranch has been farmed by the Lewers Family since they planted it in 1997. The vineyard is planted to the Teldeschi Family's heritage clone of Zinfandel, which produces small berried, tight clusters in the mountain side gravely loam. Ranging from 1,700-2,000 in elevation the vineyard is so steep that it can only be farmed using ATVs and tank-treaded tractors. As difficult as the farming can be, it offers fruit of exceptional quality and breathtaking views of the Sonoma Coast. | Eye Dark crimson core with ruby rim. Nose Yarrow, barnyard, earth, embers, herbs, peat moss, blewit mushrooms, Tootsie roll, wet clay. Time in glass reveals savory baking spices and roasted meat on open fire. Palate Full body, jammy core, mid-palate punch dissipates slowly. | This is Longevity’s first Vintner Select Syrah. Expressive, mineral tinged cherry and blackberry scents, along with hints of smoky bacon, licorice and bright violet. Concentrated and energetic on the palate, offering juicy, spice-laced black and blue fruit flavors that put on weight and become sweeter with air. Closes very long and sweet, showing excellent clarity and cut on the minerally, youthfully tannic finish. 95% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah.
| 2017 Pinot Noir Crickism #1 Never try to fit in as we were all born to stand out... | The world standard sweeter sparkling honey wine and the world’s first and only Charmat method honey wine (less yeasty and more ‘fruit forward’ than the Champagne method - most perfect for delicate honey wine - especially a sweeter honey wine). The unique combination of extended aging in French oak and Stainless barrels and secondary, pressure, fermentation produces a fascinating sweeter sparkling. Perfect for spicier foods and BBQ or for sipping in the spring or on warm summer days. | Moderation and balance is the Demi Sec mantra: the most balanced and crisp semi-sweet honey wine money can buy. Barrel aged in a combination of French oak and Stainless Steel barrels. Rich honey smoothness, but with a clean and smooth finish. Sweet, fruity, and light. Pair with spicy foods, BBQ, blue cheeses, or after dinner for the particularly dry pallet. |
