This is Longevity’s first Vintner Select Syrah. Expressive, mineral tinged cherry and blackberry scents, along with hints of smoky bacon, licorice and bright violet. Concentrated and energetic on the palate, offering juicy, spice-laced black and blue fruit flavors that put on weight and become sweeter with air. Closes very long and sweet, showing excellent clarity and cut on the minerally, youthfully tannic finish. 95% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah.
A delightful red blend, that is the namesake of the beach where Phil and Debra were married. The label is literally “moonstones” that they found on Moonstone Beach, and formed into a heart to tie in with the other labels. A off dry blend (1.5%) residual sugar) of 48% Grenache, 29% Zinfandel, and 23% Petite Sirah.
|The world standard sweeter sparkling honey wine and the world’s first and only Charmat method honey wine (less yeasty and more ‘fruit forward’ than the Champagne method - most perfect for delicate honey wine - especially a sweeter honey wine). The unique combination of extended aging in French oak and Stainless barrels and secondary, pressure, fermentation produces a fascinating sweeter sparkling. Perfect for spicier foods and BBQ or for sipping in the spring or on warm summer days.||Eye Dark crimson core with ruby rim. Nose Yarrow, barnyard, earth, embers, herbs, peat moss, blewit mushrooms, Tootsie roll, wet clay. Time in glass reveals savory baking spices and roasted meat on open fire. Palate Full body, jammy core, mid-palate punch dissipates slowly.||2018 Knock On Wood: 100% Chardonnay, all stainless-steel and no malolactic fermentation. Procured from hillside vineyards in Yamhill-Carlton AVA, reminiscent of the grand crus of Burgundy's Cote d'Or. It benefited from a very long and cold fermentation - almost two months - resulting in a lean and mean wine with perfume of honeydew melon and pear surfing huge waves of minerals, bringing a nice tide of racy starfruit to the finish.|
