One of the most versatile fish from Hawaii, Monchong is a white meat fish with high oil content which preserves moisture and offers a unique deep buttery flavor. With semi firm meat, it cooks to a tender white flaky finish. Monchong is great for grilling, sautéing, baking or fantastic for poaching. Fresh, never frozen, skinned, pinboned, ready to slice!

Hawaiian Kanpachi

Ocean raised fish. Distinctly fresh, sashimi-grade white fish, raised sustainably in the waters off Hawaii. The clear blue waters of Hawaii is the only place in the world where Kanpachi are grown in the ocean. Expect a fat content that is higher than hamachi and a silky texute with the look of candy glass. We find its very rich and deep olive oil taste to be the best part.
