Sun Goddess by Mary J Blige Pinot Grigio Ramato 2019
Description
The bouquet is intense and complex, with hints of fruits (peach, melon and berries). On the palate it is round, with a pleasant acidity, soft tannins and a finish rich in mineral sensations. With origins in Italy’s northeastern province of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Ramato (Italian for “auburn” or “copper”) wines are produced by macerating Pinot Grigio grape must with its skins. The skins’ pink hue gives the wines color from a semi-pale pink to dark orange, depending on maceration time.

Description | This is Longevity’s first Vintner Select Syrah. Expressive, mineral tinged cherry and blackberry scents, along with hints of smoky bacon, licorice and bright violet. Concentrated and energetic on the palate, offering juicy, spice-laced black and blue fruit flavors that put on weight and become sweeter with air. Closes very long and sweet, showing excellent clarity and cut on the minerally, youthfully tannic finish. 95% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah.
| It contains all the same healthy & delicious ingredients as the original Jin Ja that the CBS show "The Doctors" recommended as the #1 way to drink yourself healthy, including fresh ginger, cayenne pepper, green tea, lemon & mint -- just with 4 times the amount of the same natural ingredients and including Dragonfruit. | ||||

The grapes from sandstone soils bring out the fruitiness and the grapes grown on vineyards with rounded pebbles bring a richness and elegance to the wine. On the palate, crisp light notes of fresh picked strawberry and white nectarine lead to an elegant, lengthy and a mineral finish. The grapes were hand picked from the Mad Meadows Vineyard between September and October 2019 and the wild apples were harvested between October and November from Canamack Farm. Both grapes varieties were fermented and foot crushed whole cluster separately. After the wild apples were milled, the pulp underwent a week long maceration. The Marquette & Brianna co-fermented and aged in demijohn. In the late spring/early summer of 2020 we blended the Marquette, Brianna, and Wild apples and organic maple syrup was added to the still base wine of the Marquette, Brianna, and Wild apples to start a second alcoholic fermentation. The wine was bottled to finish under cap as a traditional method sparkling wine. Native yeast fermentation. No sulfur additions, fining, filtering, or funny business in the winery, just fucking fermented juice.
