Description | This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc and petit Verdot. Umsasane being an umbrella tree, grandmother’s nickname. As umbrella tree gives shade and protect what is under it, so as grandmother’s characters to all who were near her. The bold structure, smoothness and complexity of this wine relates to the characters of Aslina, as the matriarch of the family. | Eye Garnet core, pink rose rim. Nose Hibiscus leaves, potpourri, cherry, strawberry, raspberry, clove-studded mandarin orange, graphite, pine needles, lichen, bay laurel. Palate Luxurious with a seamless balance of fruit and acid. | Eye Purple garnet core, rose rim. Nose Savory roasted herbs, sour cherry, ruby red grapefruit, alpine forest. Palate Textured, layered, grippy tannins. | This vintage of Pinot Blanc follows other award winning vintages, including the 2017 which won “Best White Wine” in the Livermore Valley, at the 2018 Tri-Valley Uncorked Wine Competition, and “Best Overall Pairing at last years ”Taste our Terroir”, Livermore Valley’s premier food and wine competition. This medium bodied Pinot Blanc boasts aromas of white peach, citrus, melon and honey. This bright and racy wine brings a fresh creaminess adding fullness to the mouth feel with a soft and creamy mid-palate. A long finish brings the whole experience together with just a touch of stone fruit and minerals. Serve slightly chilled, with the following suggested pairings: Scallops sautéed in lemon butter with zest of citrus and lime, grilled prawns, fish tacos, clam steamers, or just about any seafood.
| 2014 Oregogne, Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley: Blended from two single vineyards in the Eola-Amity Hills A.V.A. at different elevations. Bright cherry fruit, blueberry, bramble and sous-bois, followed by flowing minerality from start to finish | The world standard sweeter sparkling honey wine and the world’s first and only Charmat method honey wine (less yeasty and more ‘fruit forward’ than the Champagne method - most perfect for delicate honey wine - especially a sweeter honey wine). The unique combination of extended aging in French oak and Stainless barrels and secondary, pressure, fermentation produces a fascinating sweeter sparkling. Perfect for spicier foods and BBQ or for sipping in the spring or on warm summer days. |
