Description | Produced from certified organic grapes from North Ponderosa Vineyards in the Sierra Foothills, this 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon explodes with deep fruit flavors and aromas of plum, blackberry, and raisins. The silky smooth mouth feel ends with a dry, subtle, medium tannin finish. Aged for 14 Months in two year old French Oak Barrels (65%) and 35% New American Oak Barrels. Cellared and bottled in Sonoma County, 14% ABV. | Eye Purple garnet core, rose rim. Nose Savory roasted herbs, sour cherry, ruby red grapefruit, alpine forest. Palate Textured, layered, grippy tannins. | A bright and lively Chardonnay crafted from grapes sourced from Bartolucci Vineyards, a California Certified Sustainable Vineyard in Lake County, this 2017 vintage is a complex sensation of green apple, subtle minerality with hints of spice and vanilla. This elegant 2016 drinks like an Italian Chardonnay with a long acid finishing - not overly buttery or oaked. Aged one year on new and used French Oak Barrels. Cellared and bottled in Sonoma Valley, 14% ABV. | 2018 Knock On Wood: 100% Chardonnay, all stainless-steel and no malolactic fermentation. Procured from hillside vineyards in Yamhill-Carlton AVA, reminiscent of the grand crus of Burgundy's Cote d'Or. It benefited from a very long and cold fermentation - almost two months - resulting in a lean and mean wine with perfume of honeydew melon and pear surfing huge waves of minerals, bringing a nice tide of racy starfruit to the finish. | This vintage of Pinot Blanc follows other award winning vintages, including the 2017 which won “Best White Wine” in the Livermore Valley, at the 2018 Tri-Valley Uncorked Wine Competition, and “Best Overall Pairing at last years ”Taste our Terroir”, Livermore Valley’s premier food and wine competition. This medium bodied Pinot Blanc boasts aromas of white peach, citrus, melon and honey. This bright and racy wine brings a fresh creaminess adding fullness to the mouth feel with a soft and creamy mid-palate. A long finish brings the whole experience together with just a touch of stone fruit and minerals. Serve slightly chilled, with the following suggested pairings: Scallops sautéed in lemon butter with zest of citrus and lime, grilled prawns, fish tacos, clam steamers, or just about any seafood.
| Moderation and balance is the Demi Sec mantra: the most balanced and crisp semi-sweet honey wine money can buy. Barrel aged in a combination of French oak and Stainless Steel barrels. Rich honey smoothness, but with a clean and smooth finish. Sweet, fruity, and light. Pair with spicy foods, BBQ, blue cheeses, or after dinner for the particularly dry pallet. |
