Closely related to black tea, our Wild Purple Tea is crafted using a wild tree varietal that grows in the mountainous areas west of Mang Shi town in Dehong.

The aroma of tea is very strong and hints of eucalyptus and sugarcane.  The mouth feel is incredibly complex and stimulating but never bitter or astringent.  It is known to provide subtle but very noticeable cha qi and tranquil feelings.

Also known as carrageen (from the Irish word carraigín meaning “little rock”), the benefits of Irish Moss were well known to the natives of Ireland long before it took on the status of "Superfood". One of the most important benefits of Irish Moss is its ability to help balance thyroid hormones. Irish Moss contains the vital thyroid hormone precursor DI-Iodothyronine, and the thyroid hormones Thyroxin and Tri-iodothyronine. If the thyroid doesn’t produce these hormones as it should, this can have a detrimental effect on metabolism and many other bodily systems.Comparable to coffee, this delicious dessert tea is sweet and earthy.  Contains 3 year aged loose pu-erh, almond pieces and caramel.
