Uses: Great in soups, broils, marmalades, desserts, gingerbreads, biscuits, preserves, chutneys & drinks

To substitute fresh ginger for ground ginger, use ½ tsp ground for each Tbsp. of fresh ginger required

To make Green Ginger Tigernut Smoothies:

  • 3 cups spinach or kale
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 medium banana
  • ½ cup Tigernut flour (optional)
  • 2 pitted dates
  • ½ to 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • Lemon juice/ 1 squeezed lemon

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients into a high speed blender
  • Add ice if desired and blend until very smooth
  • Serve cold
